Deep Fried Fish Recipe
Here is the deep fry fish recipe in a different and easy way.
Ingredients:
Fish β 1kg (Cut into small pieces)
Garlic Powder β 1 Tbsp
Carrom Seeds β 1Tsp
Turmeric β 1Tsp
Salt β 1Tsp
Chili Flakes β 1tbsp
Soya sauce β 1Tbsp
Dry Fenugreek leaves β 1Tbsp
Cumin Powder β 1Tsp
Dry Coriander β 1Tbsp
Tamarind Pulp β Β½ Cup
Lemon β 3
Corn Flour β 2 Tbsp
Gram Flour β Β½ Cup
Yogurt β 2tbsp
Cooking Oil β 2 Cups
Recipe Instructions:
Mix all dry ingredients except corn flour and gram flour.
Add tamarind pulp, soy sauce, yogurt and 2 lemon juice and mix it well.
Add fish pieces and marinate it and rest for 30 minutes.
Now put corn flour and gram flour over the marinated fish.
Mix it well and rest for 10 minutes. (donβt add water as the batter is smooth enough)
Heat the oil in wok or large pan on high flame.
Put lemon slices in hot oil first (it will increase aroma and taste of fish) then carefully drop the fish pieces one by one in the heated oil.
Fry the fish for 7 minutes or until brown and crispy, on medium to low heat.
When turned golden, remove and drain on paper towel lined plate.
Fish is ready.
Serving
These are best served with a vinegary hot sauce, green pepper sauce or ketchup and mixed together.
You can serve it with hot tea.
You can serve it at snack time.
