Cheese Sandwich Recipe
This recipe calls for plain white sandwich bread. You could also use sourdough, brioche, or even ciabatta.
You can really make grilled cheese with any type of bread you like, but you should make sure the bread is enough to handle the heat. Thinly sliced, soft breads will quickly fall apart. This recipe calls for sliced Cheddar, which is a wonderfully crowd-pleasing cheese.
Ingredients
White Sandwich Bread β 4 Slice
Butter β 1 Tbsp
Cheese Slice β 2
Green Coriander Leaves β 1 Tbsp
Chili Flakes β Β½ Tsp
Recipe
Preheat Breakfast Sandwich Maker until green PREHEAT light comes on. Lift cover, top side and cooking plate. Lightly brush butter one side of each side of sandwich maker.
Place one bread slice, keep it on Breakfast Sandwich Maker, top with cheese slice, put coriander leaves over it, sprinkle chili flakes and keep other bread slices over it.
Close cover. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes.
Lift upside of sandwich maker and brush butter on sandwiches and close cover for 1 minute more.
Life upper side of sandwich maker and carefully remove sandwich with plastic spatula. Sandwich is ready.
