Hot Chocolate Cake Recipe

Hot Chocolate cake is very yummy and mouthwatering cake. You must try it.

Ingredients

Cake

All-purpose flour → 130 gm

Cocoa Powder → 20 gm

Coffee → 1tsp

Sugar → 100 gm

Eggs → 6

Hot Chocolate Cake Recipe

Baking Powder → 1 & ½ Tsp

Chocolate Milk

Drinking hot Chocolate powder → 2 Tbsp

Cocoa Powder → 1 Tbsp

Condensed Milk → 4 Tbsp

Coffee → 1tsp

Milk → 400ml

Frosting

Whipped Cream → 1 cup

Drinking hot Chocolate powder → 2 Tbsp

Cocoa Powder → 1 Tbsp

Condensed Milk → 2 Tbsp

Coffee → 1tsp

Recipe

  • Preheat oven on 60 degree for 10 minutes.

  • Break 6 eggs, separate each egg white into another small bowl before pouring it into the mixer bowl. Separate egg whites and yolks. You should be careful that no yolk gets in the whites while separating them. pour egg whites in beating bowl and attach the mixer bowl to a stand mixer fitted with a whisk attachment. You will notice that your egg whites have a foamy texture after beating them for 5 minutes.

  • Add 1 cup of sugar and beat. After you have firm peaks, continue beating for another 5 minutes. Turn the whisk upside down again and the peaks will hold now. Stiff egg white peaks will stand straight up without falling back. The texture of the mixture will also be thick and heavy.

  • Add yolks one by one beat the egg mixture on high speed for 5 minutes or until it becomes thick, fluffy, and triples in volume.

  • Stop the mixer and lift the whisk attachment.

  • In a medium size bowl stir the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and coffee together, and set aside.

  • Add flour mixture in beaten eggs, start with 1/3 flour mixture and mix, then ½ and mix, then remainder of the flour and mix, till combined. Fold all this mixture softly.

  • Grease and line to pan with parchment paper.

  • Pour the mixture into pan and bake at 180 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes or until the center of the cake springs back lightly when pressed.

  • Cool the cake.

Chocolate Milk

Add Coca Powder, coffee, drinking hot chocolate, condensed milk, and liquid milk in a pan and whisk.

 keep it on medium flame.  

Hot Chocolate is ready. Keep it a side.

Frosting

Add whipped cream, cocoa powder, coffee, chocolate powder to mixing bowl. Whip on medium for about 4-5 minutes or until stiff peaks start to form. Once the stiff peaks start to form, your whipped cream is set.

ASSEMBLING & DECORATING THE CAKE

Cut the cake into two layers. Place the first cake layer on your cake base or turn table. Pour chocolate milk on this layer, then spread cream frosting.

Repeat again that process for 2nd layer.

Now cake is covered with whipped cream.

Take hard chocolate and grate it with knife.

Spread over the cake.

Sprinkle edible pearls.

Chocolate cake is ready.
